Despite its name, Beach Hut Man isn’t your typical beachy fragrance. It doesn’t have marine or tropical notes but instead offers a refreshing blend of green, minty, and resinous elements with a woody undertone.
The scent is invigorating, with a unique composition that might take some getting used to. Initially, I wasn’t sold on it, but after a few wears, it grew on me significantly. Now, it’s a go-to for summer. The longevity is impressive, and the mint note adds a fresh and uplifting vibe, making it perfect for the warmer months.
2. Reflection 45
Next up is Reflection 45, a more intense and complex version of the original Reflection Man. While the original felt a bit too plain for my taste, Reflection 45 brings in richer, deeper notes like Angelica, Tonka bean, myrrh, and frankincense, giving it that signature Amouage depth.
It retains the fresh, slightly herbal and woody characteristics but with added resins that make it feel more luxurious. The high oil concentration (45%) ensures it lasts all day, evolving from fresh and herbal to deep and resinous. If you found the original Reflection Man too simple, this version might be just what you’re looking for.
3. Epic Man
Epic Man is an incredibly versatile fragrance that works well in cooler weather but also shines in the summer heat. It’s a complex blend of spices, frankincense, oud, and musk, balanced by a green-blue freshness with a hint of berries.
This fragrance has a unique oriental twist, thanks to the spices, but remains fresh enough for summer wear. It’s powerful, long-lasting, and one of my most complimented scents. If you’re looking for something that stands out but is still wearable in the heat, Epic Man is a solid choice.

Lyric Man is another excellent summer pick, particularly for those who love rose fragrances. It’s a complex scent featuring rose, pine, nutmeg, orange blossom, and vanilla, among other notes. The newer batches seem to have a slightly more vibrant blue vibe, which I actually prefer over the older versions.
The rose is prominent, but it’s balanced by the pine and fresh orange notes, making it a standout fragrance for the summer. The richness of the natural materials ensures that each wear feels unique, and the scent seems to develop beautifully in the heat.

Jubilation 25 is a masterpiece that many reserve for fall and winter, but I find it works wonderfully in the summer as well. It’s a highly complex fragrance with notes like bay leaf, clove, cinnamon, blackberry, honey, frankincense, and myrrh.
